The campground at the Mayport Naval Station was right on the bay. There were destroyers, cruisers, and frigates on one side
and commercial ships passing in front of our campsite. We could watch them right from the motorome.
We drove to Saint Augustine and toured the fort there. It is right on the harbor.
They fire the antique cannon periodically demonstrating the methods used hundreds of years ago.
Easter Sunday we watched the Easter parade. It was fun to see the people in the antique cars dressed up with Easter bonnets and all.
There were pirate ships as well.
The Ponce De Lion drawbridge is unique. The movable section raises straight up.
Some of the golf courses were phenomenal, like Sawgrass
We visited with T's niece and her daughters in Panama City Florida. Her husband is in the Air Force, serving in Qatar
