Day 1 March 15

Nothing seemed to go right.  We didn't think we would ever get on the road. Trying to remember everything.  Does that sound like last year?  It was last year.

Packing and preparation this year went better, at least it seemed so at first.  When we arrived at Tyranena Brewery and started to fill the fresh water tank Bob quickly discovered that he had forgotten to finish the plumbing repairs last fall.  It became evident as water ran across the floor of the motorhome.  Luckily the leak ran out onto the tile floor, not the carpet, so drying everything up did not take too long.  Stacey, T, and Rob went for a long walk with the dogs so as not to be within range of the "excitement".

A quick trip to Menards for a couple of pipe fittings and all was well again.

Day 2

We made it all of the way from Jefferson to Racine, Wisconsin.  We had a wonderful dinner with the Jensens and Bob played golf for the first time this year at South Hills Country Club.

Day 3 On the road again. Sunrise over Indiania.

It never looks like the motorhome will fit through the tunnels.

This was in Kentucky headed for Tennessee.

Made it through the Cumberland Gap.

There is still snow on the mountain tops in Tennessee.

Arrived at our campsite in Bristol TN.

Met up with our friends from Wisconsin.  Kent & Sue and Kat & Greg came over to help us get set up.  Of course, we had to tip a few, even though it wasn't Busch Light, they drank it with a smile. We had a blast with them!

They camp next to the track at Bristol.  They purchased a car pass for us, so we could come to visit anytime or park our car close to the track.  THANK YOU...those hills are murder!

Til next time.
